Working within the Core brand designed by a coworker, I was tasked with creating and animating a mascot to compliment their Life Insurance Awareness Month (L.I.A.M.) marketing campaign. This was eventually spun out into a few more characters for use with further campaigns. For this project I created a brand guideline that included information on how the character moved and what poses were acceptable.
The fun challenge of LIAM was taking the fairly abstract brand and finding a way to compliment it with a simple character. He needed to be charming, confident, and professional to appeal to a younger market than normally considers purchasing life insurance.
